A MESSAGE FROM ROBERT HANNA
Unfortunately, many consumers are not aware that Certified floor inspectors exist in the marketplace. For many consumers this means their concerns about their floors never get addressed to their satisfaction.
If you’re unhappy with your wood, ceramic, laminate or LVT flooring installation, you should have the floor inspected to determine the cause of the problem. As an uninvolved 3rd. party inspector, I have no vested interest in the outcome of the inspection. My conclusion is based on the results of testing, job history, manufacturer and industry standards.
As a Certified floor inspector, I possess the advanced training and knowledge necessary to carry out detailed inspections of floors. When this advanced training and knowledge are combined with my over 40 years of hands on installation and inspecting experience, I can come to accurate conclusions about the cause of the problem you’re experiencing.
With hundreds of certified inspections already completed, I know what to look for, where to look, and how what is discovered adversely affected the floor.
If you’re having problems with your flooring and need to know what is causing the problem, and therefore who is responsible, I can help you by inspecting your floor and preparing a report of my findings.

WHY & WHEN TO HAVE AN INSPECTION CARRIED OUT
Why should you have your floors inspected?
Finish flooring is an investment in the value of your home and can represent a generous portion of the construction finishing costs. Whether the floor is part of new construction or a renovation project this investment should be protected accordingly.
Your investment should be protected by having a certified inspection carried out anytime unexpected problems arise.
While there is almost no such thing as a “perfect” floor, some symptoms can indicate the presence of a more serious underlying problem.
Some problems affect only the appearance and enjoyment of the floor, however, some symptoms can be driven by problems that can adversely affect the life expectancy and performance of the floor.
When should you have the inspection carried out?
The floor should to be inspected as soon as possible when a problem arises. The longer the inspection is delayed, the more damage the floor may suffer. The sooner the cause of the problem is discovered, the sooner the appropriate remedial action can be taken.
